A-Z LIVE TRACKS IN ABLETON
A 90 minute LIVE workshop recording with Ian McIntosh
WHETHER AT CHURCH ON SUNDAY, IN THE STUDIO OR, ON MASSIVE STAGES...
Learn the exact method I use to create Jesus Culture's live tracks in Ableton. Keep your live sets spontaneous and FUN!
The concept of live tracks is simple. Running background music that allows the band to accomplish something that they otherwise couldn't. It takes a simple Google search to discover that Ableton is the software of choice to accomplish that task. However Ableton can be a double edged sword - it is EXTREMELY flexible and can accomplish almost anything... which often means that there are a myriad of ways to approach a problem - too many options.
It's also fairly easy to end up creating more problems than are easy to solve quickly. Maxing out CPU/RAM, glitches during the live performance, and a stiff/inflexible performance are all too common amongst Ableton users. Most of these issues show up over time, as we continually tinker with our live set, which adds again to the difficulty of troubleshooting and finding solutions to these problems.
However, it is entirely possible to prepare our sets in a manner that prevents these. The method I use in Ableton is highly CPU/RAM efficient, allows for infinite arrangement changes on the fly live, and is very stable - very few glitches! Most of the differences in my set are very simple and easy to implement.
Join me for a 90 minute workshop entitled "A-Z Live Tracks In Ableton"
This workshop is $39.99 to own.
I'll be showing the exact method I use with Jesus Culture to prepare live tracks. Since I switched to this method about a year ago, there has been a dramatic decrease in glitches, I've been able to increase the number of songs loaded into my set at a time, and have been able to easily and quickly teach this system to others who fill in for me on the road, including Bethel Music's keyboard player- he uses this system now. I used this exact system just last month to record and run the set for the next live JC album, and I'm happy to report - it's as stable as ever!
If you've ever wondered the best way to prepare an Ableton set, if you've ever wondered if there were a few key tips and tricks that can impact the stability and flexibility of an Ableton set - this workshop is for you!
Join me, and I'll show you what you need to know.
And yes, you'll keep a recording... so you can purchase now and still watch the video later :)
WHAT WE'LL COVER
If you don't know me, I'm Ian McIntosh, Grammy Nominated Producer and Keyboardist heard on Jesus Culture, and founder of Synth University.
I help keys and synth players master synthesis, sound design, and audio software.
I do this through my In Context Training method I employ at Synth University where I take the exact methods I learned on hundreds of stages from huge arenas and stadiums to small groups and churches... and hand the secrets, tips, and methods over directly to my students.
A-Z Live Tracks In Ableton (just one of many workshops available inside Synth University) is responsible for helping thousands of keys/synth players, producers, and designers just like you feel confident and in complete control of their Ableton setup.
Without it, you waste your time troubleshooting, trialing complex solutions, and just hoping your setup works.
With it, you unlock the path to effortless control, complete stability, and cool confidence in your live setup.
Now, go forth and start creating!
WHY SHOULD YOU TRUST ME?
- I don't just teach this stuff, I actually use it: This is the EXACT setup I have used on stadium tours, video shoots, live recordings for Grammy nominated artists, and at Church on Sundays. I'm not just repeating what some other person is teaching others - I literally figured this out via trial and error from countless hours on stage.
- I'm not JUST an instructor: but I am also a musician who plays at churches, live recordings, works in the studio, producers, writes, and everything else we do as musicians. I've been working with Ableton since Version 1.5 (that's 2002 if you're curious) and have been a professional musician for 2/3 of my life. So you can believe me that when I tell you that, when it comes to live tracks rigs in Ableton, I GET IT! ;)
- I've helped A LOT of musicians with their Live Tracks Rigs: At the time of writing, 2737 people have gone through A-Z Live Tracks In Ableton. I've worked with drummers, singers, solo artists, loopers, cello players, worship teams (of course), monitor engineers, and of course keyboard players. Chances are that, if you're dealing with it, I've heard about it.
